Thu, 04/17/2025 - 12:52 pm Event Status Scheduled When Thu, May 1 2025, 7 - 9pm Add to Calendar Google Outlook iCal The Tampa Police Department will commemorate the sacrifices of its fallen members during the annual Tampa Police Memorial Ceremony.Mayor Jane Castor and Chief Lee Bercaw, in partnership with the Tampa Police Memorial Committee, will lead a tribute to the thirty-two officers of the Tampa Police Department who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community, as well as all law enforcement officers across the nation who laid down their lives in the line of duty.The memorial will take place on Wednesday, May 1, 2025, at 7:00 PM in front of the Monument to Fallen Officers at One Police Center.The ceremony will feature the Tampa Police Honor Guard, a traditional 21-Gun Salute, the symbolism of a Riderless Horse, the St. Andrew's Pipes & Drums of Tampa Bay, and a flyover by the Tampa Police Aviation Unit.The Tampa Police Department extends an invitation for our community to stand alongside the men and women of the department as they honor the memory of our thirty-two fallen officers.
